My last fill gave me 14.3 and the amazing thing is the trip computer said 14.8 ....that is the closest the two have been in 6600 miles usually 1.5 or so off....
I have 33" m/t MTZ they are only 1/2 inch taller than stock....
I must be doing something right cause with this combo I only used to get 11.4 miles to the gallon so I am ( OK) with 14 +
I would be if I got over 18 mpg

That shouldn't make a difference....if I drive 300 miles and it takes 15 gallons to fill the tank back up, that's 20MPG....I don't see where the tire size/gears would matter. If it takes 15 gallons to drive 300 miles, it takes 15 gallons to drive 300 miles...regardless of tire size.

So if it says I've gone 315 miles, I've actually gone farther? My tires are about 2 inches taller than the ones that came on it. I'm gonna call the dealer tomorrow to find out if they recalibrated mine...that's where I got the wheels/tires from.

Not necessarily but possibly. That was what I was trying to say before. Unless you get the cpu in your jeep calibrated than because your wheels are larger than factory they go a couple inches farther each time the wheel goes a whole revolution. Therefore it says 300 miles on your odometer but you have gone a little further depending on your tire size. There is a calibration thingamajig on the market now that fixes this problem and it costs $200.00. Seems expensive for something that you only use one time.

Here is a tire size calculator. Put in your stock size and then your new size, and it will tell you how much off your speedo will be. I'm about 20% according to my GPS. Also you can get a GPS for about the same price as the cpu programmer, and it will help you to not get lost I actually prefer to keep my speedo off this much, this way, I get more miles out of my warranty

Yeah, I did that earlier...I'm about 5mph off (it says 60, actually I'm doing 65). That part doesn't bother me that bad, but I'm still gonna check and see if mine has been calibrated for my tires....if so, none of this matters.

Did another road trip to get a 3M Bra on our new Jeep. The gas mileage on this thing is just incredible
On a 425 km/265mile trip fueled up on my way home and only placed in 41liters/10.6 US Gallons and it works out to 9.6L/100km or 24.9 US MPG. I had to look and re-calculate again as I could not believe what I was seeing. The actual trip counter on the jeep was showing 11.3L/100km The funny thing is I only have 1000km/625miles on the motor!
This was going 110km/hr (65mph) on avg with a few climbs in the mountains. I tell you I am just loving this Jeep.....screw Honda !!!!! My Jeep gets just as good mileage and has 100% better off road capabilities and much cooler looking!!!!
