You give me hope and a ground to stand on that my JK will be better on gas than my Ram.

I've got a manual trans and 3.21s as well and was on pace to hit around 450 mi. on road trip to NC back in the summer. I stopped and filled up when i was a little over 400 mi. I haven't even come close to that since. It's amazing how city driving kills mileage.

Your sig says you have a 2 door. If you got over 400 on a 2-door then that is damn impressive.

I think I see where he was going with his "Georgia Overdrive" post... Throwing an automatic transmission into gear at speed (a la "neutral drop") isn't what it's meant for... this WILL wear the transmission more heavily than "normal" use will.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised when it happened. But like I said, I haven't come close to 400 since.

Oh come on!! You don't have to "sell your soul" to get better mileage...just have to take those fat ass tires off! I went from a consistent 17 mpg auto/stock rubi to a dismal 11 with all my mods. That is the price you pay for lookin' pimp baby!!

Picked up our 08 Unlimited Sahara with 3:73 - 6spd with stock 18's and the first tank.....710km/437miles on one tank 75L approx. 19.5 Gallons....This was 80% highway & 20% city works out to 10.4L/100km

Extremely happy with this mileage especially with 715km on the motor!!!! Can't wait till the motor breaks-in!!!!

OK, I just tried it...the best I could do was 315 miles to the tank, at 15.5 gallons to fill it back up, that makes about 20.3 MPG. This was almost all HWY, and mostly about 65 mph. '08 2door X with 3.21 rear end, and 32" tires.
