35's on Stock Wheels
Well, for the last 15 years or so, I've done the black wheel thing on my Jeeps. On my current JK, I have some black American Eagle Alloys. I'm about black wheeled out and wish I had never sold my original wheels that came on the 08 Rubicon.
So I'm thinking about picking up a set on craigslist and mounting some 35s on them and some wheel spacers to adjust the backspacing.
Other than wheel spacers, is there anything I need to consider regarding tire width on stock wheels? Any pics from guys that kept it simple and stayed with factory wheels?

Thanks
Thanks, how did it drive like that and did you mod anything else, like shocks or control arms? Thanks again for the info, I'm looking to do something like this.

I have 35s on my stock Sahara rims. Bf Goodrich muds. I did have to buy wheel spacers. I don't like the whole wheel spacer thing. Just freaks me out a bit. To many things could go wrong, just trying to keep the stock look. 18s made the tire really expensive but the tire to wheel ratio looks good to me. Everyone has there own taste though.

I've had my 315 Duratracs on stock Moabs for 35,000 miles. Spidertrax spacers are very nice. Keeps it looking somewhat stock. The factory wheel is fairly light, most aftermarket options are either overdone (aev) or not my cup of tea.
