35's on stock unlimited rubicon temporarily?
hey guys,
I have a 2012 Unlimited Rubicon. I have an RE 3.5" lift on the way. I have 35" BFG MT KM2's and M/T Sidebiter 17x9 wheels sitting in my garage waiting on my lift to get here. I have a guy who wants to buy my tires and wheels but he needs them pretty much now. Is there any way I could run the 35's on the street for a week or so without tearing the hell out of the Jeep? How easy to do the stock fenders remove and reinstall?

A friend of mine was just in the same boat. They had 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers and put them on a stock 2011 JKU. They had a little rubbing here and there but it was not a huge ordeal. They ran it that way for about a week as well.

Seriously?
Just be patient. The lift will arrive and install them then. There's no need to rush and throw 35s on there before you have proper clearance. if the guy wants them, he can wait, if not there are always tons of people who love new take-off Rubicon wheels/tires.
I have a 3.5" lift and 35s, but I certainly wouldn't put the tires on until the lift was installed. It just adds complication for no reason!

I ran 35" KM2's on my stock 4 door rubi for a week waiting on my lift. saw new ish tires and XD hoss rims on craigslist for 500$ plus my stock wheels and tires. couldnt pass that up!! The only issue you will have is turning, even after my lift was installed i had to trim the plastic piece under my front bumper. You will also need to trim your rubi rail, I took about 3 inches off of the end of mine and trim the pinch seam by the rear tire.
Just take it easy, and enjoy your new look!!
