Windshleld cracked yesterday,. I watched it grown as I drove down the interstate. It is going to be $219, does that sound about right?

I heard they were bad about this so i got 0 deductable on glass, if i have to replace 1 windshield in 5 years it will pay for itself, just over a year no problems

3 miles after driving off the lot, asphalt truck trying to break the land speed record sprayed the windshield with stones, CRACK and two big pits! The windshield seems more vulnerable without any sort of metal trim around the edges, which seems to be where all the debris hit on mine. Oh well.....

Just got mine replaced too. I went with the generic replacement and I'm thinking I should have went with the Mopar replacement. Curious what kind of replacement you all went with. The one I got does not seem to match up inside that well. There seems to be a bigger gap at least inside. I didn't notice it with the original windshield.

I must be another lucky one. Had my JK for 1 year exactly, I've put over 20k miles on it so far and no cracks yet. (knock on wood) I did get one rock chip the first month I owned it and put some super glue in the chip in hopes of keeping it from spreading and so far so good.

Haha, that was me the first time, too close to a semi. But the second time was a rock from an oncoming dump truck. Couldn't have prevented that. Well maybe if i stopped driving
