Default 285s or 305s

I just installed a Teraflex leveling kit on my 4 door JK. What size BFG A/T do ya'll think would look the best on a 8.5 inch rim with 4.5 inch back spacing? 285/17s or 305s The leveling kit raised it a little over 2" in the front and about 1.75" in the back. Your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm no expert, but I believe bigger is better. Put the biggest ones that won't rub.

I posted this same question earlier today.. basically the diameters are the same...really the only difference is the width.. So if you like the wider tire go with the 305... I literally just got off the phone with Jim at Discount Tire.. I just picked up 5 BFG A/T 285/70R17...

I struggled with the same question. I went with the 305/60/17's and love them. They stick out past the fenders a little, but look awesome.
