The Diesel Option will be with the 8spd Auto only, because it could tear up the 6spd manual if not used properly.
If you are on the fence about ordering now, or waiting, go for it now.
You won't see the new 2018 s until Spring of that year, look how delayed the Cherokee and Renegade were.
I'm "guessing" the 4dr will stay same appearance-wise, with new engine option ; the 2 dr will be smaller, lighter, TJ Redux, with 4cyl turbo 2.4 option. Diesel alone will make CAFE Standards, big JKU can stay that way
There is no need to push "Redesign Wrangler" when they are working 3 shifts to keep up current demand.

So I was at the dealer on Wednesday and they told me on a closed door meeting on Monday they said the new wrangler will not have a stick in the diesel and get this, it will loose the removable hard top and doors!!! WTF!! The guy said just hold on to yours cause its going to skyrocket in value when the new one comes out.
