2018 Jeep won’t start
Ok I am trying to get info since my husband won’t! We have a 2018 rubicon and when you put it in park and get back in it won’t start SOMETIMES. My husband has actually pushed the Jeep like gave it a shove and you can hear a click and then the Jeep will start. He thinks the parking pin or something. I don’t know what the hell im talking about lol. But has anyone had something similar happen?

One time I had a faulty starter on my 2012. It gave symptoms of a dead battery, except that all my lights worked fine. The starter had a bad spot and would work or not work depending it's rotational position. Replaced the starter and all was well.

this has happened only 3 times within months. It doesn’t crank or anything, lights come on the dash and that’s it. The two times I was with him when it happened he would get out and shove the Jeep and you would hear a clicking sound and then it would start. He thinks it’s not engaging park or something.

It does sound like it is not engaging in park. You may try to take it out of park and put it back in and see if it starts then. I had a car once that you had push it a little harder to get into park before you turned it off.

I've read where others have had a similar issue. Going from memory, the repair was some plastic washers or parts needed to replaced within the transmission shifting linkage. Sorry, I don't remember the proper names of the parts but it's essentially the linkage where the shift control handle of the interior, connects up with the shift lever on the transmission. This is also assuming you have an auto transmission as well.
