Sport S Featuresincluded in base price
■Includes Everything on Sport, Plus:
■17-Inch Sparkle Silver Painted Wheels
■Air Conditioning
■Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel
■Chrome/ Leather Wrapped Shift Knob

Jeep.com builder for 2012 you still have to add $50 for 3.73s for all Sport and Saharas.

I was just at the dealer and priced out a sport-s and a sahara. They both come with the 3.21 standard with the auto transmission, with the 3.73 as an option. I speced them both with the 3.73 and the computer printout listed it as an option for $50 on the sport and $0 (no charge) on the sahara.

I ended up ordering a sahara in flame red.

It doesn't matter what each model comes with standard or not.

The Jeep was ordered from the dealer to whatever the dealer wanted the Jeep to come with.

Dealers who think they can sell more 4.10 gear ratios will order more Jeeps with 4.10 and vice versa.

So please check the sticker/build sheet for each Jeep and DO NOT go by what is standard or not.

It's rather important when it's a custom order and I am the one specifying the options. If I went with the default, I'd have a 3.21

This is what I read

It says included in automatic on page 3 of https://w ww.fleet.chrysler.com/v7fleet/StaticFiles/files/BuyerGuides/Jeep_Wrangler_Buyer_Guide.pdf

"3.73:1 axle ratio (available on manual, included with automatic transmission and
Trailer Tow Group) (DME)"

Yup, that is why I had listed the tube steps. That is the only "heavy" item I can think of.
The Sahara upgrades over the Sport S are:
Auto headlights
Engine/hood insulation
Gas shocks
Bigger (but still 32 inches overall) wheels
115v outlet
Tube steps
Front and rear satin bumper inserts
Painted fenders
Option for painted HT
Option for leather
Option for nav
Option for remote start
Option for auto temp.

The tube steps and maybe the wheels have to account for most of the weight.

I fixed your link....which shows the 3.21 as standard.
Same in the below link.

https://www.fleet.chrysler.com/v7fle...39;s_Guide.pdf

The "." means standard. The "O/P" means option or package.

Yeah, my mistake in my earlier post. I didnt realize they made 3.21 standard for auto JKs in 2012. 3.73 was std with auto for 2008-2011
