yep same here... I haven't taken the hard top off yet so I don't know if it's an air tight issue, maybe it's something with flat doors, my H1's and G-wagon did the same... the advantage the jeep has... you can take the doors off

I did notice this when I was looking at one the other night. I felt like I was about to break the glass in the door bc I had to shut it so hard. I was wondering what that could be caused by...

Just to put it into perspective, a 6-speed Sport running 32" tyres & 3.21s is pulling 1950RPM @ 70MPH (less than a third of the 3.8Ls redline) while a Rubi on the same tyres with its 4.10s is humming along at around 2600RPM (almost half max RPM), so there's your extra fuel consumption right there. 24MPG is easily achievable on my rig at 60MPH, falling to 22MPG at over 70MPH due to increased drag from the JK's brick-on-wheels shape. Hell, when I'm on straight, flat stretch of motorway with a 50MPH limit during my daily commute I'm getting over 26MPG as the motor's barely idling away in 6th at 1000RPM.

we love our 2012 JKU Sahara. First Jeep. Just about 10,000km on it now. The tight doors get looser the more you use them. we don't have to slam them at all now.

slamming doors close....air pressure caused
When I have my hard top on my '08 JKU (in winter months), I too still have to somewhat slam the driver door to shut it completly after I get out. I found that if I crack the driver window down a bit, it closed tight with not having to slam it. I can actually feel the air rush out through the top of the window. I think the cab is just sealed well. Try it and you'll see. Of course, if you park your rig outside, might not be such a good idea to leave the window cracked

I love the new wrangler but I can't help to say that it is starting to become way to soft and starting to become more car like starting with the interior I really hope it doesn't stray from it's heritage
