Here's a question for others who have received their ordered 2012 vehicles: Did you "receive" 4 ballistic nylon JEEP grab handles that you strap onto the roll cage or where they "installed" onto the roll cage when you received the vehicle?
The reason I ask is I had several packages in the glove box containing the grab handles... which I later installed. A friend said the handles should have been installed as part of the dealer prep. Didn't matter to me but I was just curious if it was the same for others as well.

Yeah it really depends upon how quick the inspection, initial prep, transfer to the dealer, and dealer prep occurs. You want it to be quick so you can get your vehicle but you really want it to be thorough so you know that the vehicle has no damages from delivery or missed steps in the preparation process.

Not sure how far the Memphis facility is from you but you may want to remember that they have to prep the vehicle... which means they'll have to inspect it to ensure there was no damage in-shipment... then put on any remaining items that are normally shipped disassembled... and make sure all that is supposed to go with the vehicle is either in or with the vehicle. So something to keep in mind is if your Jeep is still on the rails it still needs to be dropped off at the depot, prepped, then trucked to the dealer (which probably has its own prepping process - i.e. wash it etc... ).
Mine was in-town at the depot but took like 3 days to get to the lot and the dealer finally had it ready for delivery.
Patience at this point is a key factor. You know its coming... don't pull your hair over it... let the wind do that when you take the top off for the first time. LOL

My dealer is very thorough on their work. Never had any issues.
Here to hoping I get to drive it today!!!
