Congratz on getting it soon, mine was in C status and just reverted back into BG status on Monday. Factory rep still telling dealer it will be built.

Order was placed on 5/26 so very late build. The dealer is thinking they are running out of 2012 parts so had to go back into BG to redo build for some 2013 parts but they are not sure.

Sure it will be my luck as all my cars have been 2012 with parts from 2013 that don't belong on 2012 and will drive dealers crazy if they ever need to be fixed.

I will keep you all posted, and crossing my fingers as I maybe getting 2013 if it fails to come through.

Good luck! I bet what happened is that you ordered so late, that Jeep cancelled your order for a 2012 and changed it to a 2013, which explains the BG status. If thats the case, watch and make sure they dont hike your price up. When you order, your build sheet will say down at the bottom that prices can change. When we ordered our 2012 JGC, the price was 100 bucks higher when it came in due to pricing changes.

I've only received on email, "production scheduled" but have the VIN and VON.

Also, I have the engine block heater, Airaid CAI, and Procal. I like the IPFs to round out the bumper, but using Rigid's LEDs on windshield and elsewhere. Rigid make some sweet, made in the USA, stuff.

Will be interesting to see what happens for sure. The factory rep at the plant told my dealer on the phone and emailed them a day later to say it will be built before the plant closes to start the 2013's.

If for any reason it turns into a 2013 not bad either as it would be one of the only 2013 Flame Red JKU Rubicons out there.

Either way I will be happy just want the jeep now not in 3 or 4 months. If everything fails the dealer has a 2012 all silver coming in, however they will need to get me the soft top at a good price to make up for the dual top option I can't get.

I just want to know exactly what is really going on I hate being in the dark with this ok you are in C status now ops wait sorry BG no C no BG never getting into D1 sucks.

Once in D1 it will come in within 3 to 4 weeks normally.

I will keep everyone posted.

For those of you that got a ship date gratz sure they will be a blast.
