Overall, I think the colors for next year are much better than the boring ass, safe choices over the last few generations of YJ's,TJ's and the first few years of JK's. Each year the JK is out they seem to have mch cooler choices.

 

Assuming they haven't changed the color and kept the name, my 2011 is Deep Cherry Red.

 

Dozer is going to be very similar to the yellow that GM used for years on it's trucks and SUVs. It's got a little more orange in it... and it's a VERY sharp shade of yellow. Personally, I think that's going to be one of the hot colors for 2012.

Gecko looks to be somewhat close to Rescue Green... which is one of my all-time favorite JK colors. That one, too, is going to be one of the hot colors for 2012.

Crush is going to be interesting... is that a flat orange like the Impact Orange they used on the TJs? Or is it a metallic orange the way Mango Tango is?

 

Wife and I like dozer, she said it would look really good with black wheels

 

How different is Crush from Mango Tango?

It is hard to tell from a swatch or commercial photography, but they look pretty similar to me.

I think Crush is gonna be more like the 70s muscle car orange, not metallic. At least I hope...

 

like WXman said, i think gecko and dozer will be the hot ticket. both colors will look amazing with black wheels but will need to have black fenders and hard top or it will be way too much.

I have always been a fan of orange Jeeps, so those two new for 2012 colors always get a vote. I will hold all judgements of the other colors until I can see them in person, but they do look like some nice new choices

 

I think Gecko is going to be similar to the TJ "Electric Lime Green" color.

I'm going to re-paint my 08, so I've been waiting on exciting colors - it looks like now's the time!!!

 

Remember the purple and teal colors of the '97 TJs?
