Default More details--

Unlimited tan, dual tops, 24s package(3.73 gears, power locks, etc), side airbags, auto and satellite radio
MSRP is 31,630. They'll give it to me for 29,500. Figure with tax and title will be 31k.

I'm resigned to the fact of car buying is a great big screw-fest. Just how bad is the screwing?

Bottom line is that I like the tan unlimited, but I dont NEED to buy, so I feel like I'm in the better position.

Your thoughts and input are welcome

900 off MSRP is not a good deal. Ask them for at least the invoice price

I cut out the salesman trying to make commission. I did they same previous posters did...left my number and walked away. I got a bunch of "call backs" for days and days. They even tried the whole, "Someone else is on there way to buy it." Did not phase me. Plenty of loaded Rubi's to go around.
LOL. This makes me think of my experience two weeks ago. I had a salesman give me the usual lines the first day I went in there. I didn't NEED a jk just want one. So he was giving me a "great deal" at $300 off sticker!! In just five short days I had him calling me begging for a sale. Even after I told him that I bought it somewhere else for invoice he called me back 3 more times, telling me I was gonna get scammed. I felt like he was a pathetic girlfriend that just wouldn't let me break up with him. He's telling me to go break my contract, come back to him. It was quite fun to watch a couple of them beg, when their price sucked
