2011 Model Year Changes

For me mine is a keeper and will remain so until they can provide us with a bit better economy and more HP/TQ. I don't need a Hemi... don't want one. But another 50HP and TQ would rock as would say another 5mpg or more.... given the gearing needed to be 'trail rated' though that's kinda of a pipe dream in a V6 auto trans setup with true 4WD while still meeting emissions and all that I suppose.
Stock things that would be nice to have is a bit more secure console and glove box, deeper trunk box with lock and dump the craptacular and giant rear muffler for something more petite and less intrusive on departure angles (or just revise it to under the driver side with a skid, give us a pretty decent sized locking compartment in the rear). Seat pockets. Wheel well and under-hood lights. Better hood latches and an included hood lock. Stock dead pedal. Vanity mirrors and map lights. Interior plastics could be a little less scratch prone too.
Outside of that I like my ride.
Would love to see a factory option of 2 and 2 seating in the unlimited with a rear cooler console and perhaps pick up the fast back hard and soft tops as options.

I've got a question. With removable doors, and seeing as even people who never use 4x4, still remove doors and top, why are the mirrors still mounted to the doors? I relocated my mirrors on both my previous jeeps myself. Its just a needed hassle, that I would rather not have to do.

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump. I think the word is that we'll get some new pics in early July, so hopefully any day in the next week we'll know what we're getting with the interior.
I stopped by a dealership on Saturday since I'm considering jumping on a 2010 Mango Tango. Talked with my sales guy and the sales manager, and neither knew anything regarding the 2011. Chrysler's keeping everyone in the dark on this. The sales manager explained to me that after 2011 Grand Cherokee pics were leaked, and with leaks on the Charger, Chrysler is playing information pretty close to the chest. We promised to keep each other updated with info if any came in.
