Default 2010 Unlimited rubicon MSRP pls help

I am at the dealer at the moment and wanted to reach out to the community. I can drive off with the rubicon for $33 + fees.

Fair market value in your opinion?

I am really thankful for any help here.

Thanks

cristopher

So basically the discount the dealership is willing to negotiate equates to about the $ amount of the taxes and fees then?

Tax here is 9.5% so 3300 in taxes basically. Tough decision all of a sudden. If it was 33 OTD I would be driving it now

that sounds like a decent deal from them i only had 7% tax. but you live there and have to pay it. there is a 1050 hold back for the dealer so tell them to give you the jeep for 36000 out the door that would be less than invoice before your taxes.

play hard to get and walk. let them stew on it and see if they call you tomorrow or monday. if they're calling you, you know they're hungry for the sale and to make a deal which could lead to you getting a better price.

if you're hemming and hawing right now, they know they have you where they want you and so you will pay what they want you to pay.

also what cody mentioned about the hold back is accurate. they'll usually use that to pad your trade or whatever, but it's there for them to fall back on.

good luck.

Yea as I was driving out he came running asking if I would buy it now if he lowered it 500. So I'll wait for his call.

Default 1% below invoice!!

Thats right!

I found this out through research.

I had 2 dealers deny my "control number"

Call up Chrysler and ask for a control number if you bank at a credit union, if not START!

This control number is like garlic to zombies when it comes to the sales man.
I got the delivery and D&H waved.

FYI

Did you pull the trigger?

Were they offering out-the-door (all taxes and fees) for sticker?

That is usually a reasonable deal (not necessarily great deal, depending on demand),
specially with sales tax in CA pushing 10%.

He will still be hungry tomorrow (Saturday) morning if you didn't buy it.

The sales guy and his manager could probably taste the deal.
