I love the rescue green myself. And I love the new blue for 09 as well. I have a black jk since the color agreed better with my wife and son. I wanted rescue green bad, but ditched the idea after the two of them said they wouldn't ride in a puke green jeep. I am still a little sore about it, but love the black just as well. I also dig yellow, but they vetoed that too. How boring.

I always thought the Rescue Green was pretty nice. I opted for black because of the theme I was going with, but I like Rescue Green. For all of you guys that have Rescue Green, look at the bright side. They have apparently discontinued after just two years. Park those Rescue Green models in garage, drive it once a week and get a second jeep because a they'll be collectable as hell in ten years. If you've got a mint condition Rescue Green jeep with low miles you'll make a killing from some collector.

Two things I saw on this forum that I like about the 09 (and actually saw it on an 09 in my dealer's lot):

1. Net to hold stuff on the panel on the bottom of the center stack.
2. Small tray that sits in the top of the center console.

I've asked my dealer to check these out and find out if they will fit in the 07. I presume they will since nothing appears to have changed - dimension-wise - in these two areas.

And if they do fit, what's the cost!

i actually really like the rescue green as well and that was my first choice but the only one on the lot that had all the options i wanted was the steel blue....seems like there are actually fewer steel blue jeeps out there than i would have thought so it's pretty cool having one of the few out there but the color does show every scratch, spec of dirt etc. which kinda sucks but hey its a jeep right and it's supposed to look dirty all the time...are they really discontinuing that color as well...i'm gonna be pissed if they come out with a burnt orange color though because that color would be sweetness....

I was comparing the 08's and the 09's when I got mine. Couldn't pass up the deal we got on the '08 especially since the '09's were so similar - we basically stole it from the dealer.

that mirror is just an add on by Mopar. Its been available for a while, and only adds a drivers side for when the doors are off. No passenger side.
I think its cool though. Wish they had both sides. they have light mounts built in too, I believe.
