2008 JK Sahara suspension question
Can someone tell me what the biggest tire I can run on stock suspension on 2008 Sahara 2 door with tow package a 3:73 gearing without doing a lift? I was thinking of running 15x8 Cragar soft 8's with 33/12.5/R15 and if I had to I would do a 2" BB lift. Any info or tips would be great.

If you are trying to get away with the smallest lift and don't off road, then no lift is necessary. If you want to off road, I would recommend at least a 2 inch. If you have a 2 dr, I hear a 3" lift w/33" tires look good.

The biggest tire you will fit on stock will be a 33" but will be dependent on width of the tire and BS of your wheels. If you want a 33x12.5 you should have a 4.5" to 5" BS on your rims. If you want to off-road a little I would recommend a 2" BB it will help clear the 12.5 tire under the rear fender flare.
Here is a photo of our JK with 33x12.5R17 Cooper STT's stock....and I had zero issues with rubbing lock to lock just had issues off-roading with the rear stock fenders the tires would rub when flexing.

With a 2" budget boost with shocks helped with the clearance of the fenders off-roading.
