You'll make friends after you buy a Jeep. It's easier to pile in a 4-door, but it's up to you as to whether you want to have the vehicle that can haul more people & stuff, part blessing part curse.

I like having a 4-door, I love people piling in/out whenever they please (don't have to get out to let them out/let them crawl over me).

But I still want to buy a 2-door and have both!

Used to have a '93 jeep. Went with the 4dr since we have 3 kids now.

It seems pretty simple.
2 adults= 2JKs
snag one of each, and never look back.

That's one of the reasons I love my 4 door. I am still young so I wanted something fun especially considering the fact that I had to sell my motorcycle and other toys to afford it. But with the 4 door it is the best of both worlds, a fun vehicle that has enough space for just about anything you want to throw at it! Even I was amazed that I fit a 7'8" Christmas tree in my 4-door without any interference while driving (see my post a bit further down on the list in this section)

Either way you decide to go though I am sure you will love it and ultimately it is your fun decision to make!

Hey.
If I had 2 of them, I'd have one to drive right now.
besides, wouldn't you rather trust someone who can recognize mistakes they've made, and learn from them?

Seriously though, good luck with whatever you decide to purchase.

I orginally ordered my 09 sahara In 2 door With Dual Tops, they couldn't get me the one that I wanted, so They stated they could get me a 4 door Sahar for an extra 20 a Month, I decided to go with that since I didn't want to wait 6 more weeks for a 2010, It was the best descicison I have ever made. I dont know I would even fit my hockey equipment in the 2 door!!

I like the two door..
I have a Honda van and don't need another one. I have a Honda accord to run around in.

I bought the Jeep For ME and my Wife..When I go wheeling I do it to get away from people and crowds. If someone wants to go wheelin with me they can get thier own Jeep. .The Two door does everything I need it to do..With the rear seat folded back or removed it will store anything I need.. Mainly my fishing gear and shotguns. On occassion the dogs..

The two door is lighter, turns tighter, has a much better breakover angle and since its lighter you have better acceleration from this underpowered mule. Stability on the highway has been a non issue.

The bottom line is this..Everyone has different needs and desires..If this Jeep is going to be your daily Driver and you enjoy hauling friends around or maybe have some kids in the future. The 4 dr is your choice.

If your like me and plan on using your Jeep to escape civilization like I do..Then the 2 dr is perfect.
