Default 2.5 " lift ?

Ok last week put on 265/75-16 tires and 1.5 " wheel spacers on my 2dr wrangler sport.Thinking of a lift and was wondering would a 2.5" lift be a very noticable difference?

I have a JKU sport and put on a teraflex 2.5 spring lift and I would say yes it's noticeable without being obscene. I am please with mine and am glad I didn't go bigger. I will be putting 35s in the near future.

Yes. But you don't need a lift for that size tire (31.6"). Suggest you read Dirtman's post stickied to the top of the "Modified" sub-forum: "My Thoughts on Lifts." Excellent background info.

That's fine. With a 2.5" lift 35s would be easy. In the meantime, you have compromised the on- and off-road performance of your Jeep for looks. A lot of us do it while working our way up to our dream Jeep. It is just important to be aware you're doing it. Still recommend Dirtman's article.

I agree 100%. On everyone's recommendations I read and read and read. Good people that won't steer you wrong. I have the 255 mudterrains and only put the lift right now for the little bit of extra ground clearance as I was center hanging everywhere, lol. Now that I have the lift I get through places I couldn't otherwise. That really shouldn't be an issue for you as you have a two door.
