1550 mile road trip
Just got back from a 5 day 1550 mile trip to s.c. from south fl.and here are some highlights.
avg mpg 21.6 avg speed 74 6 speed with 4.10
mpg at 55 22.9!!!! my tj couldn't get that down hill with 80 mph tail wind
1 out of 11 cars on I-95 had to look and give the thumbs up.
the marines by Paris island loved it.
need to get the front windows tinted because someone is always looking it the jk and me.
saw a H3 park in front of a jeep dealer in myrtle beach at 2 a.m. checking out the jk's
Had no problem with the jk at all.lots of fun rides better At 55 then 74.

1st gear is short 10-15 mph 2nd is good for 25-30 mph then its pretty fast as jeep go.it take a good 400-500 miles to loosing up the engine.now that I'm used to bring the rpm up to 3000 or so its nice.1st and 2nd are great for off road.As you saw i paid the price for the 4.10 at 74 mph in mpg but i drive more city then highway.

sounds good..after its broke in..floor it!
I have the 2 door. 6 speed, 4:10's.and i was very happy with power band...
