4-door you will need a new front drive shaft for a 3.5" lift. On a 2-door a front and rear. You can for a while with out it but when you tear the boot do you really want to be in that situation?

I just ordered mine from Dave at Northridge. Should be here today. If you don't go above a 2.5" lift you shouldn't need a new drive shaft. Seems like 3-3.5" is magic line that if you go over it there are a lot of other things that break, need up graded or won't work anymore.

Hate to take all the fun away=Take the $6ooo and pay off the loan on the jeep if you have one. Drive it for a while and see what you truly need and not waste the money on things you really don't need. Take your time, a 2.5 will just be fine for a lot of places.

How about Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with 1" M.O.R.E body lift. Stock wheels with 1.5" Spidertrax spacers. Cut stock fender flares. Front bumper with winch. Install yourself and save a bunch.

I did the following for roughly $6700, but I also did most of the work myself and/or with friends:

Edit: just noticed that you're insisting upon a higher lift and bigger tires, so you can ignore my list... lol
