These fuel prices are gonna kill all the owner/operators of backhoes, trucks, skip loaders, ect.
Diesel prices go from 3 to 5 bucks a gallon when your burning 100 gal a day or more in equip fuel.
There goes whats left of any small profit you might have had in this economy.
Cant afford to leave the driveway

I definitely don't think Jeeps will take a price cut due to the rise in gas prices with the new Penastar's they are putting in the new Jeeps. I bought my Jeep in the end of May 2008 and they guy at the dealership swore up and down Jeep Wranglers never get any sort of intensives like reduced APR or cash-back like other Jeep models do. Turns out after the market crashed and Chrysler nearly went belly-up Wranglers had, you guessed it, APR and cash-back intensives.

I usually burn at least 1/4 tank a day. The only drawback is getting up 30 minutes earlier to meet everyone. I am not a morning person and 4 a.m. is a little weird. I get home 15 minutes later in the afternoon.
It has a 1.8gal fuel tank, so to fill up when I'm just about on "E" would cost me just a tad over $6 right now. That $6 would keep me going for 2-3 weeks or so driving at my normal pattern/distances.
Plus, it's just plain fun to ride.
