$300 Ride home well actually $350 /w gas
So was having a good day the other day, Sun was shining top down 72 degrees! Great cruise home from work! Just finished my tank of gas on my Hyper-tech 87tune, was going to re tune to premium just to see the difference! Got gas at my normal gas station ( No vomit out of the tank) Going great!
Fast forward a few minutes I get home and Reach under the seat to get my Hyper-tech programmer and whammo its gone!
So now some idiot has a piece of trash he cannot use (saved to my jeep) All because i went in store and bought a lotto ticket took 2 minutes. Had it at work and someone slipped in like they knew it was there the bastards. Again lesson learned, worse part is i practice Jeep safety all the time, I never have anything of value in my jeep Ever.
On a side note I'm glad i like the 87 tune! looks like I'm stuck with that for awhile.

Pukes! I hate thieves! Car thieves should be hung like back in the day! And a loss of the hand for repeat offenders for minor offenses. I'll swing the blade don't bother me any

Most gas stations have MULTIPLE cameras to protect their assets and YOURS.
Explain to the manager you are filing a police report and that they will be in to get a copy of the tape(s) during your transaction. See if they will hand it over directly to you.
I would assume the perp is on tape.
Now go get them! With or w/o the law.

We actually did look at the tapes, Its a white durango with blue stripes and a middle aged white guy, Never gonna find that guy :( poor me, cant cover on insurance either $500 deductible. For such a new gas station they had horrible cameras at very very wide angles cant even pretend to make out the tags colors.
But Mind you i'll be on the lookout. =D

Sorry about your programmer being stolen. That really sucks.
X2...if the dealer flashes your computer, you will lose your current tune and you will be back to "stock".
Other thing to think about is if you decide to get another Hypertech tuner...can Hypertech map your current saved stock settings (if they are saved somewhere online in one of their databases) to a new programmer so you can return your Jeep to stock on your terms?
