Here's another tip. The only thing on my jeep that was new and full price was my winch, and that was a present. Everything else I've got off Craigslist or traded other stuff/services for. I got my lift new for $200, my wheels for $450 with some 37's, sold the 37s for $300, traded out some work for my bumpers, etc.

I sell stuff I don't need on CL and eBay, and save cash here and there. Ask for gift cards for presents and buy used if available. Learn to do most installs yourself. Over time, your jeep will get there, life's a journey.

I like all the tips and I do enjoy my jeep. I guess I just got impatient seeing all your guys jeeps I'm 19 work to jobs and got my jeep last year I don't know much but I like learning. Really trying to get into the off road seen. Ill get there only in time

When you go buy food when they ask if you want cash back get like 10 bucks or 20 if you can and that money start puting it in a safe place and sooner or later you will have some money i just turned 18 i work to help my mom out but i always keep like 40 bucks 20 to spend and 20 to save or i just save all 40(:
