Default Elka Reservoir Shocks for 2"-4" Lifted Jeep JK (~8,000 miles) - $900 in Katy, Tx

UPDATE - SOLD

I am selling a set of four (4) Elka Reservoir shock absorbers for $900 that I took off my 2010 Jeep JK Unlimited before I traded it in. They are for a Jeep lifted 2" - 4" and are in great shape with no rock dings or leaks. I would love to put them back on my new Rubicon, but have decided to go a different route with a Leveling Kit, Trimmed Fenders and some 33" Duratracs on 15" Level 8 Trackers, for better Daily Driving and to make it easier for the Wife to get in.......someone could use these great shocks with minimal miles on them, and no hard use.....

I had them on the Jeep for about 8,000 miles and they are great in fast whooping-type sections of back roads.....if "whooping" is even a word . They give the Jeep a planted feel with very minimal body roll in the tough terrain, but shine in the fast back roads.

These shocks normally sell for around $1,150-1,200 brand new and these are in perfect shape and ready to go. Let me know if you have any questions.
I posted a couple of pictures from the install write-up here on the Project JK since they are currently wrapped up in a towel in my garage after I took them off and haven't had a chance to get to them......

Default Shipping.....

Looks like shipping on Fed Ex would be around $40, plus packaging, so if you want to cover the shipping, I would be willing to package up and ship them......lots of bubble wrap and a cheap towel to keep them clean and buffered.

OK, sounds good. If I still have them, we can definitely find some time to meet up and work something out.

Thanks for the interest and let me know when you are coming in.

Thanks, I like them a lot. I had them on my 2010 Sport with 2.5 TF Coil Lift and they worked perfectly. Very solid feel on the road, no body roll at all. Felt more stable than with factory springs and shocks. And on the back roads, fast dirt bumpy stuff, they really excelled. Sucked up everything, kept the Jeep planted and stable.

They are pricey, but worth it and I thought the best upgrade to the Jeep I made. I am selling them b/c I sold the 2010 Sport for my current 2013 Rubicon, and am going to build this one on a different path.....more drivable day to day with a leveling kit, 33" Duratracs, and some Bilstein shocks, keeping it a little lower for the wife to get and out of, and help with gas mileage. Then after a couple years, I will build it back up on 35" KM2s with a coil lift and trimmed fenders.
