It made me feel like I had wasted thousands upon thousands of dollars on mods. All of this design work and concept thought to make my Jeep stand out, and none of it doing any good. I know im not running 40s or anything like that, but I have done some things to it.
Anyway, does anyone else face this dilemma?

I had the lady at the gas station tell me that she liked my hummer. I was gonna smack her in the mouth but I didn't want to knock out the only tooth she had left! I just told her thanks but it's a jeep not a hummer.

I personally love all your mods except the bushwacker flares. I would love to see what it looked like with the flat flares, or even the homeade cuts on the original flares that a lot of people are doing on here. The lift would be much more obvious without the huge flares.
With all that said...great looking jeep! Unique mods and it will stand out in the crowd. I say !!!!

That's a testament to the Jeep styling -
Kind of like Hondas (don't flame me!) - All I mean is you can't really tell what year they are because they've kept the same design elements from model year to model year.
I can certainly tell a CJ from a YJ or TJ, and certainly a JK.
Most people just see one and say Wrangler.
Or worse - as has been mentioned - mistake it for the dreaded H-word.
Look at the Jeep Cherokee. The body style barely changed in almost 20 years!
