I don't understand he picked up the Jeep. It says in the video that he picked it up by the hood. How do you pick a Jeep up by the hood? Must have had one of those big claw things used to pick up piles of logs and just grabbed it. Guy must have needed a new transmission and axles. Maybe he bought a 2wd and wanted to convert to 4wd!

I absolutely hate thieves but I have to give this one credit... that is pretty creative/hilarious to be honest, and the fact that he got away is funny too. But in all honesty I hope they catch him soon.

Google Prentiss Telstik. That's what the "crane" actually is... The driver just put the forks under the Jeep. There will probably be little to no damage to the Jeep. I'll bet he gets caught. That truck is set up for Drywall or block delivery. Can't be many drywall/masonry supply companies in the area.....

My brother and I were talkin about this last night...If that dude did in fact use a magnet type crane (not a fork type like the other guy said) then the magnet, being powerful enough to lift a vehicle, would not only get its pull from the hood, but from all the steel in the front right down to the frame rails....really the hood would only act as a flat surface..
