How long was the tube you started with, around 6 feet?

Also, for any of you welders out there.... (Redneck?)

I'm itching to learn to weld a bit, nothing heavy, just things like this or building some small custom brackets for odds and ends. Problem is I do not have 220 available in my garage.

Can I do anything with those little 110V units they sell at Home Depot? Or do I find out when I get them home that all they are good for is welding something the thickness of aluminum foil?


By the way to the OP... I love your bumper, simple clean, but very professional looking.
