Hey RIPP,

The price they "quoted" on the show,... Did that include the headers as well as the SC?
SC $4799.95
Hdr $1599.95

Most will go SC only and it should be plenty - Headers are for guys with huge axles and tow a lot... (in our honest opinion)

But many seem to be going both these days - based on cost...

Guys, I also for the longest time "distrusted" these TV shows. But after being there and talking to the guys, I'd say they are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and know their stuff. No funny business went on when they did the dyno pulls.

And to my RIPP buddies, Good going guys! I am SUPER impressed with yalls numbers being higher than the HEMI Jeep. I figured the drivetrain differences in the two would kill. Congrats Ross and Enzo, yall's done good.

I'm going to try and catch the show tomorrow, but was there a large difference in the torque curve from low rpms? I thought the hemi would out perform the ripp hands down when it came to lower crawling type rpms.

Numbers are nice, but what does the dyno sheet look like? I missed the show. VVT or standard 5.7?

they said the Hemi was from a truck but it had the Magnum/Charger/300C engine cover on it, so I am guessing the non VVT 340HP Hemi.

Was an awesome show, made getting a Hemi seem a waste of money.. BUT..

I keep thinking that quote from Blade Runner....

"A candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long"... I am guessing the 3.8L will not make it 50K or so..(Stock 3.8L's have trouble lasting 60K..). But with the $14K you save you can buy lots of 3.8L's from people swapping to the Hemi's..

I am going to go get my 6.1L JK dynoed this week just to see what it will do.. Anyone with a stock or S/C JK in Hampton Roads area??

I kinda think the same thing. I also wonder what a VVT or 6.1 will dyno. My 6.1/A580 is from a GC SRT8, waiting to be swapped in someday. Just need a 545 tranny, have it built, and the AEV swap kit. Def post up your dyne numbers and the graph.
