I would think that the wider you go, the lower the mileage, because of greater rolling resistance. However, wide tires do look badass!

what about if most of your driving is fast on the snow road, dirty, mud. is fatter still better?

by the way, i think you'r JK look's great! And if I had a deal with my parents like that, i would put the 31's on without a second thought!
