Eventhough the size is a bti smaller..after pricing both V-8's I found I can get the Hemi for the same money as the 4.7 might as well get the best bang for my buck...

I care not what dyno charts say. I've driven supercharged JK's and had rides in Hemi's. There is NO comparison in regards to power. None; it's not even close.

owned both too, no comparison

Actually when the JK first came out and Dan at Burnsville Offroad was doing most of his own wiring harnesses the 4.7 swap he was doing was about $6,000 more than the 5.7 Hemi swap (I think it was the same price as a 6.1 Hemi swap).
so it was even more for the swap ....I knew Dan offered it for awhile just didn't know the price....so it's even more impractical aftermarket
