Who says you can't wheel in a stock JK
So I went out with the local JK club this week. Mine is bone stock down to the Goodyear tires (12k miles and under warranty, give me some time). Anyway, I kept up just fine and wanted to let everyone know you don't need a lift, 35s and bumpers to enjoy your ride, just get out there and get dirty!

Heck no. A sport will go places lots of other vehicles can't go, and there are some real hardcore wheelers on this forum, and others that will tell you a stock Rubicon is big time capable.

I'm in NJ and have wheeled at Paragon (when they were open) & Rausch Creek in PA with stock TJ's and never had a problem except for a little banging underneath that my Engine & oil pan skid took care of. You can wheel green trails at Rausch creek all day with a stock Jeep.

Only people that say you can't go offroad in a stock Jeep aren't worth listening to at all Lots of folks talk just to hear themselves speak...OR....are trying to sell you something

Mine was very good off road in stock form, even doing trails that the lifted and aggressive tire modded CJ's got stuck on, i putted right on thru. I didnt take the bypass, my skidplates are a testiment to that. Years later i just wanted the bigger badder look of lifted with big tires, but i never needed it.

depends on the trail. Wouldn't you think? Driving on a dirt road with some mud on it is different than the trails I take my jk on. But I suppose mines just for looks.
