I was reading your Jeeps description and was looking to do something similar (2.5" lift, 37" trail grapplers, and metal cloak overland or overline fenders). How much travel do you get? Are you always hitting bump stops with 37's on a 2.5" lift?
Would be great to hear some feedback from someone with this set up

Sorry for the late reply... I do not know... I haven't been off road since I got the tires (except for the beach). I am heading to Uwharrie soon and I will test it out and let you know. I have a couple of Teraflex Bump Cans on order so that will at least help with the bump stops.

Thanks! I picked this up early this past summer off of Craig's List. They pop up here and there - just keep searching. This one was in great shape; did a spring over lift, lock n roll hitch, custom fenders and a few other things here and there. Was a fun project! Feel free to contact me any time if you have any other questions, I'd be glad to guide you in the right direction

So I have read so much about if you install 37" tires that you must upgrade the Rubicon front differential housing or add sleeves/gussets. How many people here actually do this ? I have my AEV 3.5 lift installed and am looking hard at the RSE fenders that would give me the needed room to run 37" tires but am worried that the stock 44 will not last.
I'm building this as a trail rig not a rock crawler so should I worry so much about damaging the front differential ?
