Looks like a lot of flex maintained with them, if you had the trail mod fenders would it have rubbed on the inner stubby fenders or no

I'm pretty sure it would have. There isn't a lot of clearance gained between cut factory flares and trailmod inners. They just look better in my opinion.
I'm running 37s on a 3.5" RK and they would rub without extended bumpstops. I haven't installed the rears yet and they do rub a little.

Here's a picture of me mall crawling with my mall terrains. The front wasn't quite on the bump stop.

Mall crawling isn't even an option in my town let alone rock crawling, you gotta look long and hard to find any Kodak moments around here

Oh heck yeah it will rub, the issue I would see is. You need to trim the rear.... And doing so you will cut into your nice fender. That's why flats are nicer, you could trim it but this what happens with my rear when I didn't have bump stops, it started cutting into my nice nittos. Now I trimmed quite a bit.. To the point I started seeing the inside foam. You won't need to cut flares if you have longer bump stops. You will lose up travel, which isn't a huge issue. I cut my front on a slight angle so I didn't touch the body. Just the rail.

It's good to know, now I feel a lot more at ease about going with 37s on a 3" lift

You talking to me? I have longer bumpstops but haven't had a chance to install them yet. The trailmods don't limit articulation much more than than trimmed factory flares unless you do start trimming the upper seams as you mentioned. I'm not ready to cut anymore off of my jeep. I trimmed the pinch seam at the rails until I saw the foam. I rubbed grooves in my 35s from too small a bumpstops and I'm not cutting up my new Nittos.
