Awesome Jeep. Great color combo, agressive but clean. Love it.

Nice! Are those the non-directional Iroks?

Yup. I got them mounted yesterday at a shop a buddy of mine's neighbor owns. Then I got on the interstate and they about shook the paint of the Jeep. I was thinking, great all the stories I've heard about Interco tires never balancing must be true. I talked to a couple locals at the Jeep club meeting last night and tracked down a shop with a Hunter Roadforce machine. I had them rebalanced and they now ride great. Barely louder than my Duratracs. We'll see how they do at Gulches in a couple of weeks.

Looks great. I'm going to be going up from 33's and was looking at these in the 36x13.5 17 - they say they are directional tread though... I had directional tread tires before and it sucked for rotating them... how do you like these? they do not look directional.

36x13.50R-17LT, IROK Bias Ply by Super Swamper

An exciting new "Super Performer" the IROK. Many years of experience have gone into the Irok to develop a tire with traction as good as it gets - in mud, snow and rock climbing. It has a directional tread in the famous three stage lug design, scooped lugs, blade and molded siping, special sidewall features, extra tough cord and cut resistant compounds in a super traction package. Sold individually

Yeah that's a totally different tire. First of all that tire is a bias ply which means that it's really best for offroad use only and will wear fast on the street and flat spot after sitting for a while. They're also tougher to balance. The ND I got is a non directional radial that has less space between the lugs, more siping, and is suppose to have better tread life. They're also quieter than normal Iroks. The problem with the ND is very limited production and sizes.
