An AEV short arm 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 lift is actually proven safer than stock in evasive driving. Check out the AEV tests. I have had my AEV 3 1/2 lift for over 2 1/2 years and absolutely love it's stability and "better than stock" ride quality.
