We've done some leather installs through Katzkins Leather. Essentially, your covers some off, their covers go on. They're usually right around $1295 installed.

The leather in this shot smoothed out quite a bit - but this gives you an idea of the difference.

I have the Katzkin leather in mine. Black with the Yellow inserts. NON perforated. AWESOME. Cleans up nice and easy.

they will fade pretty bad in the sunlight... not in my jeep

Why would they fade? I have black leather in my 4 years old convertible, and the leather has yet to fade or crack... Not sure why it would be different in a jeep.

The guy who did my Leather in my streetrod, now has MS and is not in good enough health to do it any longer...

Hmm, I should have taken a pic of the 4 door black sahara I saw at the dealer the other day. It looked like a black tie edition with out the chrome mopar tube bumper. It had that black tie rims and when I looked inside it had a mygig and all 4 seats were black and silver leather with JEEP Stitched on them. It didnt have a window sticker but it was new and still had the tag inside by the glove compartment.

They looked awesome. Factory leather seats in wrangler, what is the world coming to!

Here's the link to photos of mine. Jeepik says you can order the leather for $600. from Katkins. That puts the install around $400 (I paid $1000 installed).
