WHAT would YOU do? JKU Sahara got smashed a bit. HELP me decide!!
Got into a little accident the other day, got Tboned passenger side. Dammage: front fender, side step , front door ,quarter pannel... good news is: frame is allgood.
The truck is your everyday Black JKU Sahara with stock 18" wrapped in 33" MTZ, 2.5 lift, VDP end caps front bumper mod, and a few other thingys.
My question to you guys is: would you put the sahara steps back and keep the painted fenders OR go with aftermarket rails + powdercoated fenders?
I'm just worried it might look silly if I go the 2nd route with the tiny 33's.
pics would help, ALOT! Pictures of saharas with 33s running aftermarket rails or flat fenders!
I gotta make up my mind and talk to the bodyshop guy (insurance claim)
thanks guys!
(i miss my jeep!!!)

I would say ditch the factory steps and go with sliders. And flat fenders would look good but it will leave a pretty big gap between the tires and fenders being that you run 33's

I'd get rid of the painted fenders.. The stock side steps are not bad unless your doing alot of rock trails.. They help keep salt, mud, etc off the doors. I see your in Canada so I'm guessing you deal with salted roads.
