Well this week my dad is buying me a new 2010 jeep jk for my first car and I've been eyeing the rescue green. Some ppl disagree tho, so show me your 2 door jks (whatever color) so I may have an idea....this is your chance to show off your jeep so lemme have it! (No homo) lol

My old man is the same way his words when we purchased our 08 Wrangler unlimited. "Why did you buy a P.O.S Jeep Wrangler?"
I wanted a used CJ7 & restoring it for my first vehicle but was swayed by the force of my dad telling me everything wrong about owning a CJ7.
Instead of me owning a CJ7 for my first vehicle. We rebuilt a 71 Datsun 240Z instead...which was fun & good quality time with my dad!
However, I still wanted a CJ7 over a Datsun Z car.
Everytime we visit or he visits he wants a drive in the Wrangler. Each time I tell him...not a P.O.S is it? His comment "Yeah it's not 1/2 bad, It looks pretty good all dolled up with the lift, tires, bumpers, winch & snorkel!" and he is even more impressed with where it can go!

I got my first car (it was a car) in 2000 or 2001. It was a 1985 Porsche 944 and it wasn't given to me... In my experience people who are given their first vehicle usually tear the #$%^ out of it.

My first car was a 76 AMC Hornet I bought off a friend for 50 bucks. It was held together with bungies and duct tape but it lasted me over 2 years. Funny thing is all these years later I buy a new Jeep and keep bungies and duct tape in it "just in case"
