I have not had any problems yet. I have used the same vinyl on window decals that have baked in the North Carolina summers without any problems. The vinyl is Oracal 851 and is made to hold up extremely well. The only problem is the fading of the paint around it. I am not sure how long I will leave it on. I made the side decals and put them on and wondered how a hood decal would look, so cut one and tried it.

My factory grill and fuel door had been replaced by the previous owner with a chrome grill ![Lame](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/9lame.gif)
I have several hundred highway miles on the finish including several gravel roads and it has held up well so far. I will say that I did prep it with 120 grit sand paper and a good cleaning with denatured alcohol before painting.
If it starts to chip or flake I will probably have it Rhino lined cause I love the look, that is unless I can find a factory red rock front grill on the cheap.
