Bolts on the drivers side exhaust manifold where it meets the first CAT, came loose while driving yesterday at first I thought the drivers manifold cracked again, but the noise slowly got worse over 30 kms, until it was so loud, it sounded like I had no muffler, like I was driving a demolition derby car.....I stopped, and pulled into a buddys garage.....opened the hood while running, and could see a couple millimeter gap inbetween the CAT and the manifold.......my girlfriend and I could smell the fumes inside the jeep when at a light.......anyway, I could see directly into the CAT and it was glowing orange from heat (this was at night)......Shut down engine, grabbed an extention and socket (with leather gloves on) and I could turn the nuts by hand.....Just tightened them up, which sucked the exhaust closed, and the gap was gone......I have no idea how this worked its way loose......anyway, what a relief it was to know it wasn't the manifold.....I was already thinking that I would just replace the OEM junk manifolds with a header....glad I don't have to yet....

Installed my EBC front brake pads.

Rotated my tires. Good thing too. I found my rear pads are getting thin. They have just over 10K miles on them. Need to find a better pad.
