Here are some pic's with my powerplant in the rear reciever....The front reciever is coming thursday...
and yes the spare is in the way and no they do not have a solution other than remove spare or use with the tail gate open
i figure it won't be used in the rear much anyway.....

That's what I was thinking. I've got a 10' trailer that I use to get my ATV around and I use a drop to keep it level and tracking right on the highway. Looks like it would move everything out of the way for you. Looks like it would move it out a touch further and drop it about 6 inches.

manage to drill holes in the side of my jeep, then the drill burned out ,, purejeep sliders still on the floor of my garage. these things are a PITA to install. they need to come with better instructions, or a video on their website.

yup, had mine installed at a 4 wheel parts store. They didnt know how crazy the install was so they charged me 200 and said itll be done in an hour or two Lets just say 6 hours later i was a happy camper and they were not......

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing.
Are you planning on mounting a reciever in the back so you can lock the cradle/winch inside the jeep?
T hats what I was going to do.
