Good luck - sounds like a quick return to the road.
Yep, busted her up good at the OK run - wasn't with the OK group - I went with El Campede and the rest of the folks from JK Forum.

Turns out I also broke one of the teeth out of my spider gears! OK will have her next week, and everything will be all better once they get through with her.

New Coast driveshafts to complete my TeraFlex 3" coil lift.

I installed the lift last weekend (16th) and did not go offraod or flex at all as I was waiting for my shafts first. When i pulled of the Xfer case skid there was a stripe of fresh grease beads across it. When examining the xfer case area, the front shaft was beginning to spit its grease after less than 100 road miles. The boot was not torn, The rubber seal at the joint on the Xfer case end was spitting grease out from underneath the small metal band that seals it to the shaft.

So i would say from my experience with less than 100, non-flexing onroad miles; the front shaft showing signs of impending failure, that front shafts on a two door, with that 3" coil lift definetly need replacement as well as the rear, as soon as possible.

They"re the same on the front 2 or 4 door. Yours might just have been ready to go. I have a TF 3" lift and Moab did my front in. 20,000km on the next one and I peeled the boot a bit last weekend but its still good at the transfer case.

Didn't you already have some lift on your Jeep? If so it may have started the wear process long before the 3" gave the final death blow.

I had a 2" BB. with the weight of the bumpers/skids it was more like 1"~1.5".

I hosed the snot out of it the day before i started the lift as it was plastered with mud & dust from the dirt roads at work. I especially hit the suspension so i had a good clean starting point. I certainly wouldnt have hit the top of the skidplate with water, but with the amount of dust & dirt on the rest of the suspension, any grease would have been covered with dust if it was old. the grease was sitting on top of a layer of dust/grime.

It is possible that it was starting to fail previously, but if it was beginning to fail at roughly 1" of lift, then i have even less faith in the stock shafts.
