What was done to your JK this week?

I just pulled the quirky sway bar disconnect motor from my JK. In its place I put an EVO manual knob. My sway bar disco was pulled a couple years ago and I cleaned the gears and mechanism and greased it with marine grease. But the electronic portion of it has been suspect ever since. I think it fried my PCM at one point, requiring a new one. Anyway, I pulled it because I took it on a dirt road to cycle it and the lockers, just to check them and keep them in working order, and the sway bar never felt like it disconnected. The dash light just flashed. Then when I went to reconnect it, the dash light just kept going.
So I had the Evo in the garage for awhile, not wanting to give up on being able to switch it in the comfort of the driver's seat, but this was the last straw. Hopefully, the mechanicals are in good shape and it will connect and disconnect without much trouble. I really don't want to drop a grand on a new sway bar. In fact, I won't. I'll just leave it connected at that point.
At this point the sway bar is disconnected and won't reconnect. I'm going to mess with it and loosen the EVO and see if that allows it to engage. EVO says you may have to cut a coil or two off the spring, so loosening it should tell me if that is necessary. Otherwise, next weekend, I'll be diving into this thing and cleaning it out for the second time in 3 or so years. Uggh.

So this week I added the SPRINGTAIL Solutions M-PAC Rear Door Folding Tray / Molle Panel Gen 2 Set up. I've been eyeballing a rear door fold down table for some time now, and saw this on a buddies rig a few weeks ago. By far one of the easiest aftermarket products I've installed. The hardware made the installation fool proof with no drilling into the read door at all. The combo pack came with 2 STAT pouches that strap onto the folding table for easy access when the table is in locked into place. Very impressed with the ease of installation and quality of the product itself.

You'll find that table is an awesome asset. I use mine all the time for camping. We actually used it just the other day having a snack while taking a break from mowing. I've used it to set things on while I'm rearranging the rear of the jeep.

Bought a Grill Mesh American Flag this weekend and installed it. It took all of 5 minutes tops. It's a good addition. I had previously snap on black grill vents.

My front swaybar disconnect has been acting up again. It won't reconnect. I put an EVO manual disconnect knob on it and that hasn't helped. So I found a "new" one off a 2015 JKUR that was removed with only 1500 miles on it. I pick it up Friday evening and will probably install it before the drive home. I had taken the original apart, cleaned it, and greased it, but it didn't perform consistently from there on out. My brother will be driving it on an upcoming trip to the Appalatian Byway, so I have gone through everything to make sure it is 100% for the trip.

My old Rubi swaybar disconnect was worn out. It struggled to reconnect. On top of that, when connected, there had become too much play in it. So I found one that came off a 2015 JK when it was totaled at only 1500 miles. It is tight as a drum and cycles to disconnect and back to connecting quicker than I remember my original doing it when new. So the old Rubi is 100% mission capable again. We'll be hitting the Appalatian Byway in just under 2 weeks. This will be the first time it has been on serious trails since I bought the JLUR. She's got new rock rails (Line-X covered, too!), new Bestop floor liners, a new swaybar, a new Midland MXT 115 GMRS radio and antenna and is ready to go!

Bought Only 1 ARB Diff cover
I only bought one ARB diff cover so far (will buy the other in a couple weeks), and I'm wondering which area I should put the diff cover. In the front or the back? (D44's on both) The front has obvious benefits for front protection from rocks, but the back rear axle strength benefits are important too. Also, maybe the back is an easier starting point. Any suggestions?

I FINALLY figured out a way to get my 3/8" drive, 1/2" drive torque wrenches and 1/2" breaker bar organized, out of the way, yet easily accesible when needed. I found some small Quick Fists and mounted them to my Springtail M-Pac rear tailgate table and side storage compartments. No rattles, out of the way.

I like the breaker bar across the back like that. I've got the same table, I guess I need to figure if it makes enough noise and if I can afford to lose that space in a 2dr.
