Installed Diabolical Slipstream on my JK

Very secure packaging

Took about 4 hours, spent an hour and a half on the wall, finally figured out I had the center section upside down.😡

Removed carpet

Ended up flipping the rear tail skin down

Probably will repaint the hold down brackets

Still has some extra room behind the front seats

Nice easy lockable access door behind my seats in the middle.

Started to go through the boxes of take offs from the previous owner and learned how to take off the Hard top.

After thinking about it for the last few years, I finally got around to relocating my license plate to the spare tire. My plan is to add a pair of Dually cubes or a short light bar above the plate as an additional rear-facing scene light.

Just had the PSC rear crossmember put on. It had been sitting in my garage in a box forever so I figured I should just make an appointment and get one thing done.

Cross member looks good I get concerned from time to time running a skinny bumper without a cross member.

Technically, this hasn't been done yet, but sneak peek of what's in my garage and should be under the jeep next week -

PR44 with hub conversion paired with full float PR60. I'm sure I'll get ragged for not doing front 60, but

Default New Jeep camera additions

I retired last month (mandatory) and have found myself with some new free time. Since winter is when I get the Jeep out I've started in on a few mods. The first was adding some fuel capacity. I already had the AEV rear bumper so I added the tire carrier and the 10.5Gal fuel caddy. I like it. I especially like that all the weight has bee transferred to the frame and not to the back door.

Now I only run 33's but having the fuel caddy is like have 42's back there and completely wiped out my rear view so I decided to add a camera and a 430 RGB stereo. I run a couple of different GPS devices and decided I didn't need that built in capability. The 430 GBZ was a brand new unit that I paid $295 for. I also grabbed a used UConnect box and harness off of Ebay for less than a $100 bucks, the camera and cable were $25 bucks. I also ordered a rear-view/reversing camera that mounted at the license plate light. It took about 3 hours to run the wires and swap out the 130 for the 430. I have a J-Scan so the setting up the computer took less than five minutes. During testing of the units I found that I had neglected to clip the harness to set it for NTSC. I also found that the UConnect box did not like the microphone extension.so I used the plug on the harness. Once everything was working I buttoned it all up. Now for just over $400 bucks I have a working backup camera and handsfree calling.
