What was done
I finished installing the Poison Spyder fender liners (front&rear) also the hood vent (painted the underside of hood to make the vent blend better since I had to paint the sides that were cut anyways, and then I took the cut out pieces and made square plates to put behind both front and rear bumpers, as well as the bumper skid plate. Now the recesses are body color. I think it came out pretty neat looking, and didn't cost anything but time.

After all that I put new hood decals on, and some metal emblems on the side fender, the Poison Spyder was lasered cut by a friend of mine, and is 4"x 4" powder-coated black and installed with the same button head bolt that the rear fender armor uses. Pretty trick

Yearly maintenance (trail rig only before anyone blasts me). Changed the oil from last year, checked all fluids, touch up paint on skids and control arms and took it for a drive on the street before the rain

I FOUND THE SQUEAK!!! For the love of Baby Jesus, I found the squeak!!!! I've oiled every joint, grommet and metal-to-metal surface on my entire Jeep, roof rack and suspension. I could NOT make it stop. Every little bump, however big or small, it chirped through my entire vehicle constantly. Top off was just as loud. It was like a relentless itch I could not scratch. Today, after oiling all my rear suspension components to no avail, I was able to isolate the noise to the area around my tailgate. Upon closer inspection, I found that a screw which attached my Olympic 4x4 rear frame cover to my frame, was barely making contact with the sheet metal behind what would be my bumper. I installed a shorter screw. Jumped on the rear, shook it, test drove it, and the silence is now deafening!!! This is officially the 4th best day of my life!!!!

It was little at first. But then it worked it's way up to the equivalent of Chinese water torture. I was beginning to think that setting my Jeep on fire would be the only reasonable solution. It's a glorious day, LoneWolf!!!
