Touch up-wards of 60 mph
Heading out to the trails minding my own... And this kid wallepped his car into my rear bumper. Crazy kid had to be pushing 100 mph before he realized he had a choice, Simi rig or me. He had no insurance and someone told me i could get in trouble for letting him go? He was not drunk, just shaken up that he smashed his car? He said, there was only 200 of these on the road (until now)
Anyway I got to touch up my bumpers this week.

Make that 199 Car insurance is the law. Luckily nobody died. Ass was driving 100 or so, he got a cheap warning and a trip to jail. Next time he may not be so lucky. Not to be a d*ck but I've had one thrown in jail. She didn't have ANY papers if you know what I mean. But she got a free Bologna sandwich in County. I guess I paid for it either way.

Even though I waited too late to order a trailer hitch flag pole holder, I still wanted to fly our Nation's colors this weekend on my new Willys. So I improvised. Using two 3/4 inch conduit clamps, a 5 ft section of conduit, and 2 eyebolts, I fashioned a temporary flag pole for my new Willys. Using the larger clamps (larger than the 1/2 inch conduit) allowed me to spread the clamps to fit the screws already in the 3d brakelight and allow a little wiggle room since the post has a little curve in it. Only had to drill two holes in the conduit to accept the eyebolts.
Dang, I gotta learn how to rotate these pictures . . .
