Not sure of the total years but mine is a 2007. You can visually inspect the manifold after removing the heat shield and looking for hair like cracks or you will hear it on a cold start up if yours is bad like mine. It sounds like the exhaust is exiting at the motor instead of through the muffler.

What paint did you use? I like the matte look.

I noticed mine when my MPG's dropped and I opened the hood and heard a weird "hiss". I hope this helps!!
It does, thanks! I haven't heard any hiss, but it has gotten harder to maintain my great-for-a-Jeep MPGs. I'll be paranoid and give it a look this weekend.

3.8 mini-van has external headers - the 3.6 Pentastar header is integrated into the block.

Got my reciver hitch put on and whatever-guard on the interior (for the interior warranty or some crap) today. Got to take my freedom panels out today for the first time too! If I had mirrors the doors would be off as well... I'm itching to get them off, might have to scrounge the shop for an old set from something I can make into hinge mounts or something...

Isn't the 3.6 used in the "mini van" Has always cracked me up how the 3.8 got labeled a mini van engine as if that's all it was ever used in. Anyways...proceed..
