Got on my RR XHD rear tire carrier. It was too dark for pics tonight, but I'll try to snap some later.

Default Finally got around to trimming the pinch seam

It was a while ago I got hooked up with Woods' Rubi-Tubes that add a tube-rail to the stock Rubicon rock sliders (similar to the Mopar Enhanced rails). Since I was getting them re-powdercoated, I took the opportunity to trim them about 1.5 inches, and to angle them similar to the angle of the fenders. Welded on a piece of steel rather than the plastic plugs, which wouldn't fit the new angle.

I finally got around to trimming the pinch seam that was hanging out there like a knife blade ready to slice into my 37" Goodyears. Cut it off with an air cutoff wheel and filled the gaps with JB-Weld, primed and painted black (which makes it hard to see in the pics, and in person)

Rubi-Tubes:

Pinch Seam trim showing the angle and improved tire clearance:

The best pic I have showing the welded on end caps to the rails, and the final finish of the trimmed pinch seam. There is a small hole at the bottom of the metal end-cap so water can drain out of the rails.

Thanks to Woods for the Rubi-Rails and the help getting them welded and powder coated.
